Welcome to our excursion to Szentendre, best known for Hungary’s largest open-air museum. In the open-air museum a comprehensive guided walking tour will be conducted and we will learn about old ways of life and folk arts from different regions of Hungary. Then the bus takes us to the center of Szentendre. This small town is also known for its artistic past and its art camps. The old center, surrounded by numerous church towers, has idyllic cafes and small boutiques along the medieval alleys. After a short tour you have the opportunity to visit famous museums, e.g. For those with a sweet tooth there is the Marzipan Museum and shop, for those interested in art, the Margit Kovács Ceramics Museum Is the best option. At the new Christmas Museum, you can wait for Santa Claus all year round.
