Lajosmizse horse show and Kecskemét
Departure is at 11:00. unless otherwise required by the time of the horse show
When we arrive at the place we drink welcome-pálinka (fruit liquor) and taste “pogácsa” (salty little bread). We are going to see scenery of the Puszta from a horse-wagon ride.
During the horse show we will see the outstanding horse-handling skills of Hungarian shepherds. We will also see native Hungarian breeds. You won’t see this anywhere else but at the Hungarian Puszta! You can take part in the flogging competition, where you can win a bottle of wine from Lajosmizse’s own farm. You can visit the stables and see other animals in the yard.
After the horse show, we continue the journey to Kecskemét. Approximately 100,000 people live in the cozy capital of the Puszta. We will explore the city center on foot, after that there is a free time for your own leisure.
